and very depressing too. It's gotten to the point where I look at it like choosing the lesser of two evils. Though the lesser evil is still waaay less the other.
It's like I told a student of mine years ago when the kids teased him because his middle name was "Elmer". I said, "they only do that because there's nothing else about you that they can pick on...so they aim low". Thus it is with John Edwards' hair. It's pretty damned difficult to demonize (though Ann Coulter is trying her evil best) a good-looking and intelligent guy of faith who was born poor, became a lawyer, made good money, married a woman he loved, lived through the tragedy of losing a child, became the running mate of a guy who SHOULD have been president and now is running for that office himself while wondering how much longer his wife will live. And so? The NeoCons attack his pretty hair. Dirtbags!
It's damn sad that I had to go all the way back to this post just to comment that I adore Ruby's new look with glasses.
You and your no-comments policy... how can random strangers gush over how gorgeous your kids are (or your thrifty and crafty projects are) if you don't allow commnents?
Hahaha... all this kvetching and who knows if you'll even read this comment...?
Just saying... since it took me a few days to get creative and figure out a way to leave a comment.

On a lighter note, I forgot how much I LOVE that song! :)
You always find such good stuff.
Hi Catherine! :)
