Happiness is.....

.......buying 5 packages of Halloween invitations at the thrift store for a $1.25 and selling them for $58.oo on ebay.

I like capitalism.

I've never sold anything on e-bay, but I hear you can pick up a nice chunk of change. Wow...it would be hard for me to let go of vintage Halloween stuff, though.

that is AWESOME. and I woulda paid more for those FAB invites. (if I could've afforded it.)

as is, I just managed to grab myself about seventy (maybe more) Life magazines from the fifties and sixties, in quasi-pristine condition, and for free. FREE. these people were unloading their great-uncle's stashes after he'd passed, and we walked by and saw them and I, being nosy, asked if they were throwing the stuff away, to which they replied, take as much as you want. yeaaaaah. and so I did.

plus some old, groovy chairs I'm gonna refinish.

I love old stuff.

did I mention that as I perused through the 'zines, I thought that you might like a few of 'em? lmk if you would like any. I've got some Sophia Loren covers, and Doris Day, and Natalie Wood, and a few with Audrey H., and ... loads of cool stuff. email me if you want a few. I'd be happy to share. :)

xoxoxo
