Who doesn't like a MEME?

Miss Izzay has tagged me to do the "six weird facts" meme. I have no problems with memes, I like writing them (narcissistic) and I like reading other people's (voyeuristic). And really, isn't that what this whole blog thing is about anyway? So here goes...........

1. I am not a fan of the "Chick Flick". I have never seen "When Harry Met Sally", "Sleepless in Seattle" or "You've Got Mail". I also have never watched an entire episode of "Friends".

2. Like Izzy I'm addicted to chapstick. Unlike Izzy my addiction isn't just at night, it's all damn day!

3. KFC coleslaw is one of my favorite foods. Now that's WEIRD.

4. My husband calls me his "Little Chicken".....and I like it.

5. I wash all of our new clothes before we wear them for the first time.

6. I'm the rerun queen. Some of my favorite TV shows like "Seinfeld", "Roseanne" and "Everybody Loves Raymond" I had never seen until they went into syndication.

I'm tagging Catherine.

Yay! Before you and Mama Mia, I'd never been tagged before. I'M. SO. EXCITED. I have my eight-year-old sitting here next to me, very anxious to help me think of the weirdest facts about me. That was a lot of mes. I guess whey they're called MEMEs??

Hopefully this won't take all night. (a weird fact about me... I agonize over my writing.)

Gah!!! I personally LOVE KFC mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, so I can relate, totally. Reruns? TV Land and Nick at Nite are just about my favorites! Seinfeld? You had me at "What's the deal with airline food?"

"You've Got Mail" is so not a chick flick. I know, I know...all Meg Ryan movies are ultimately chick flicks but I'm in denial because I love me some "You've Got Mail". C'mon! It has computers and email and NYC in it. Three really awesome things. Have I changed your mind yet? Perhaps I should add "I can't handle negative opinions about dumb movies that I really like" to my list of weird things ;P

I use lip balm all day, too, but the bedtime application is mission-critical.

And "Little Chicken" is so darn cute!

I am shocked at your television watching habits! I also think that maybe you have something against Meg Ryan, what about "Chick Flicks" without her? Have you tried Amelie, Pride and Predjudice, or Shakespeare in Love? I think I shall make it my mission to convert you. I am ruthless...:)

It's not just a Meg Ryan thing. Lets include "America's Sweethearts" "Must Love Dogs" and "Maid in Manhattan". I'm talking about the quintessential Hollywood "chick flick". I guess I should also add that I am a fan of the biggest chick flick ever made, "Titanic". I know that's one of Mrs.Fortune's favorites too;)

So you don't like feel good romances, hmmmm. Ok. But to never have watched an entire episode of Friends! Wow! That is a little weird.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I did this meme as well and sadly, had no problem thinking of 6 weird things about me! As for your list,

1. What, huh? Those are my three most favoritest movies, ever. Waaaah! And I never missed an episode of Friends. Hmmm, we might not have anything in common, except

2. Yes! Lip balm addict here. My husband has Chapstick in every pocket and sitting on every table in our house. I like any kind of balm, and it's essential at night.

3. Here we go-LOVE the KFC coleslaw. And those way-too-salty biscuits with the "honey sauce".

4. Um, that's too personal to comment on!

5. So do I, aren't you supposed to? It takes out the starch put in the clothes to make them keep their shape on the store hanger.

6. Never watched a single episode of the original Law & Order until it started in syndication, does that count?

So there you go, we have lots in common so far. Guess I'll be back!

While I'm open to chick flicks, I look at You've got Mail as two hours in my life that I will never ever get back. In fact it (of all things) was the tape that got stuck in my VCR when I rented it for two weeks until I had the damn thing repaired. The punk rock guys at the indie video store laughed so hard at the story that they didn't even charge me the late fees.
