I'm Done!

"Now here we go dropping science, dropping it all over. Like bumping around the town like when you're driving a Range Rover" - Beastie Boys

I took my final last night and now I have nothing taking up every single minute of my free time (what little of it there is). First on the agenda? Switch out Winter and Summer clothes and clean out some closets. That may sound boring, but as long as it has nothing to do with molarity and titration it sounds wonderful to me!

HOORAY!! isn't it bizarre how cleaning can sound downright seductive after getting through a battery of tests? I'm so proud of you for making it through the last few days of hell. You rule. :)

Lildb- I love your word choice. It is downright right seductive if not orgasmic;)
Domesticator- I'm going into nursing school. Chemistry was my last pre-requisite. Thanks for the congrats.

I knew at least one person would like the Beastie quote. No nap today, but that's okay.
Geez, I just read my comment to Lildb. "downright right"? I should really try proofreading.

Yeah! I know that feeling of being done with finals. It's like a 20lb weight is lifted off your shoulders.

Actually, did you say Chemistry? Make that a 50lb weight.

Hey Marcie! I was a nurse for 14 years and i loved it! :) It is a tremendously rewarding career.

Domesticator- That's really cool that you were a nurse. Will you go back to it someday? It does sound rewarding and there are so many choices of where to work and different groups of people to work with. I'm actually already thinking I would like to be a recovery room nurse. But I still have a while to go before making that decision.

yeah! I'm wondering if I took Chemistry again if I would actually understand it this time around?

No I probably won't go back to it. At least not in the near future. I feel a little bit like "been there, done that". I've not personally done recovery room nursing, but I know people who do and love it. Most of them did several years of ICU nursing first to become comfortable with emergency situations.
Once you start your clinicals, you'll figure out what you want to focus on.

I am glad I'm not the only one who got a rush from the word "titration" - I almost wanted to take the class! Then I woke up =)

I felt relieved about semester's end for about ten minutes yesterday. Now I just feel like a slug. I keep looking over my shoulder thinking, "What am I supposed to be doing now??" Yeah - not good at the whole "relaxation" thing...is that like a mom guilt thing??

Congrats on finishing your pre-requisite! Wahoo... but please remember that housework is evil. I look to you for that sentiment and cleaning closets should be avoided at all costs. ;)

Congrats on finishing.

Personally, I think having the time and the opportunity to rearrange my closets sounds like heaven wrapped in chocolate dipped in champagne.

I love a woman that can quote the B-Boys!

High fives for getting through it all. Now you can do housework and it won't even seem evil :)

Congrats! And thank you for filling me in on Laurie Anderson and Lou Reed. I did not know that and I'm a fan of both.
